Dr. Terra is a licensed mental health therapist, certified life coach, author, speaker, and healer. She has worked in the mental health profession for over 20 years. Dr. Terra’s practice focuses on healing through self-discovery and working through issues such as trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, adjustment to life transitions, developing assertiveness skills and building self-confidence, and relationship issues. Dr. Terra utilizes a unique style to healing combining a straight no chaser approach with research-based practices, and a holistic concept to stress that people are in control of what they are DOING in their lives whether it is or is not working toward helping them meet their needs. Her philosophy is that wellness is not just about the absence of illness; however, wellness includes the presence of peace, satisfaction, joy, and purpose even amidst a storm. According to Dr. Terra our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors impact our pursuit for overall well-being. As a result, Dr. Terra utilizes a person-centered and strength-based approach to help clients create a mindset shift. Her goal is to help people realize their own power, to identify their internal strengths and resourcefulness which creates a shift to a more positive mindset, a change in worldview and increases resilience.

What Dr. Terra has discovered and teaches her clients is that everything they need to be happy, they already possess within them. Her passion is to support individuals as they search within to find and own their power to choose happiness and move from a life of surviving to a life of thriving. • When she is not busy with speaking engagements or working in her practice providing therapy and coaching sessions, she is busy traveling and spending time with family and friends laughing, experiencing and creating memories.
• Her goal is to add at least two new country stamps to her passport every year.
• She enjoys performing arts and has just started exploring this interest through Improv and community theater.
• She also enjoys a fair amount of alone time where she can rest, relax, and recharge reading, researching, listening to music, and streaming her nostalgic television series.
• She believes practice makes progress not perfect.
